I love love love Craigslist. I've bought and sold tons of things there, including my Buick. Fun fact: I met my wife through a Craigslist personal ad nearly eight years ago. I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience with it, until today.
I made a nearly hour and a half round trip for a good deal on a Snap-On torque wrench. When I get there, "It's not in my box, my friend must've borrowed it." Top tip: when you're selling a thing, be in possession of the fucking thing.
Luckily it was a beautiful day for a drive in the old Buick.

I sold some wheels to a meth head one craigslist once.
Never have I had a bad experience either, always had deals fall through with no issue, and sold cars and whatever else at prices I wanted them to sell at.

Wait, you drove an hour and a half for a wrench?

Thankfully, you didn't have that experience meeting your wife. "My friend must've borrowed her."

Haha! No, that would be a really bad start

A very expensive wrench for a not very expensive price, on a beautiful day. Won't be doing that again though!

I sold a set of wheels on craigslist and purchased a refrigerator. My only regret was buying the fridge at night. It looked great until the next day when I noticed huge gashs in the side. At least it was destined to be a garage fridge.
