So after rooting through some old car names, it occures to me that there is a trend in car industry to name a vehicle it after a place its not from (or even available) for some reason. Exotic?
Examples:
Subaru Outback
Land Cruiser Colorado (90 series prado in the UK)
Land Cruiser Amazon (100 series in the UK)
VW California (the coolest VW van no available in the US)
Porsche !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Kia Rio
Can you name more vehicles named after inappropriate for the vehicle places?
