Nice one! I clicked and was hoping for a 5 door EMS which is my current dream, but rocking nonetheless! Enjoy!

I have never seen sillier rims on a car, and I love em.

5 door would be more useful with little kids, but this wagonback is so bitchin. The Draken plates have been on it for decades and will stay!!

Saab Inca alloys. So bitchin. Car car with the original unused steel spare in the trunk plus an additional Inca alloy without tire. When I moved the alloy from trunk to my garage I almost smack myself in the face with it — SO LIGHT!

This EMS is pretty awesome! Sadly there was no such thing as a 5-door 99 EMS. The closest you can get in a 99 5-door is a "GLE" spec car (similar seats, soccerball wheels like the original EMS wheels), then somehow find a EMS steering rack (faster/fewer turns lock to lock, and manual, to boot), and maybe different springs and shocks. The Inca-style wheels were spec on the 99 Turbo and the first couple years of the 900T.

ah I think I was thinking of the 900 EMS, was that available in the 5 door?

Nope, the 900 EMS was only offered in a 3-door... My first Saab was a 900 EMS—pretty amazing little sled; got me hooked on Saabs pretty much forever. I'd have another if one could be found (and not be a massive rust/cancer victim). 900 EMS was '79-80 only, and weirdly enough, could be had with an automatic (ewww) . The Turbo could be had as a 5-door in '79 and '80. For what little it's worth, the 5-door Turbos didn't come with Incas but the oddball TRX wheels, instead.

Boss :) rally-Saab for the win

Can't wait for more pictures. 99s are on my 'massive soft-spot for' list.

I need a bunch of Cibies or Hellas mounted to the front bumper. 2, 4, 6...more?
