Silly pilot, everyone knows it's a drive thru, not a fly thru.

Yep.

I figured that the pilot simply didn't pay attention to the height restriction sign at the drive through. He'll be ok though. They medivac'ed him to a hospital via air ambulance with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Most of the vehicles in the lot were spared. The notable exception being this Pontiac that got creamed. Judging from the mismatched wheels on it, it looks like someone had written it off anyway.
The plane came down in the parking lot between the McDonalds building and the service station right across the side street. It could have been a lot worse.
Across the main street was the local DOTD, who were able to immediately respond with hazmat assistance. The airport is about a quarter mile away and emergency vehicles were there very quickly.
Oh yeah. HOTCAKES AND SAUSAGE $2.99!

Hopefully this isn't anywhere near Starkville, MS. My cousin has a similar colored V-tail there, and he's doing his solo pretty soon. Haha

I pronounce it Bonanza but then I'm also a fan of Lorne Green, Hoss and Little Joe, so there's that.

Nowhere near Starkville. Seems this plane sat dormant for a while at Monroe Regional awaiting an engine rebuild. The rebuild arrived from Arkansas the other day and the pilot was flying patterns just testing, when the motor cut. He issued a mayday before going down (which he should have done a month ago, as that was when May Day really occurred. Hyuk).

Well I eat it very often, so yes.

Yeah, I have heard it both ways. Some folks are one way and some are others.
