Yes, that is a stanced Beetle. No, it is not a mirrored image, it is indeed RHD. It is the actual car I saw as well (not my picture, credits in the image).
I truly do not know what to think. It was a ridiculous assault on my senses. This is the anti-Orlove.

I saw a stanced VW Cabriolet with an enormous fart cannon. I told my wife that I couldn't be friends with anyone that drove a car like that.

It was the RHD that was somewhat out of left field, and the fact that it seemed well done. In my experience, folks around here tend to do stance poorly.

I'd show you mine but it's not 100% done and looks too high in the test fit photos because it's on the jackstands a little still.
