I installed (with proper torque) new ones from Sachs when I replaced my shocks, and a small clunky rattle emerged shortly after. The noise has been getting worse and worse and now I can confirm that it is the shock mount. Needless to say, I bought a different brand to replace both rear mounts with.

Ugh! That's the worst, when you replace something only for it to break or otherwise go wrong.
My buddy and I replaced all of the control arms in my Audi and I started to notice a clunk after about a week. I went back over to his place (since we did the initial at work) and we put a wrench on all of the bolts in the front to make sure none were loose. Nothing, no play in the wheels, nothing, still clunks.
I haven't noticed it in a while so I guess it went away. It's really not good for me to say things like that because I'm super anal about my cars and making sure things get done right but I really have no idea what the fuck is (was) causing the clunk.
