Trying to get the miles up on my car so the emissions monitors will reset and I can take it to get inspected. I came across a E90 M3 convertible and an oldsmobile 442 convertible while cruising some backroads. I also served up a slice of humble pie to some kid in a E36 M3.
Only 10 more miles until I hit 150 and I hope my O2 and Catalyst monitors ready themselves.

Those headlights! Why???
Otherwise, nice Marauder.

why? have you ever driven a car with 9007 bulbs? I like being able to see at night. Those headlights took my 3 weeks to build and cost more than some P71's on the road.

Sweet headlights and your car looks so clean and shiny and gosh is that a blower?

its actually a filthy mess right now haha, I don't want to detail it until I get it inspected because I have to get it ready for the all ford nationals this Friday. All that work would go out the window if I claybar the car then get it covered in pollen.
and yes its a eaton M112 off of an 03/04 cobra. I bought it off a guy with a 03 cobra that owned the car since new, took the blower off after 1000 miles and slapped twin turbos on.

funny enough the mag has 9007s, and i dont have trouble. High beams are way brighter than the stupid HIDs anyway.
lo beams arent great, but thats why it has high beams....

I got lucky. In 2010, part way through the year they switched to the new bulb type that I belive went into the 2011s. Everyone trys to tell me I have the 9007s. Nope I say smugly, I have a stupid type that no one carries and onky one supplier manufactures and I have to go to Doge to buy.... oh and the are wayyyyyyy too much for a bulb.
Ps sarcasm present. Read accordingly.

is the connector the same? If so, just get new headlight assemblies and cheaper bulbs. Thats what i would do.

they chnged everything on it. They removed all metal parts In the housing to save cost and weight. If I ran the old bulbs the heat coukd melt them and/or start a fire.

yeah, just get an older headlight assembly and stick it in place. Problem solved, and cheaper bulbs to boot

I wish I had a shot of what a stock panther outputs with 9007 bulbs, its beyond "not good".
I didn't get this kind of light output from my stock housings

PX45N or some shit. PITA is what it should be. That may be the fog Light though.

The forums tell me the older cars use a 9006/9005 combo with 9145 fogs?

Sounds right. I have too look it up whenever I replace them. The fog changed part way through the final production runs of the charger in 2010. I would be someone called it a cost savings to get rid of the metal shielding.
