Seems to be inspired by...
...the nose of this season's F1 cars.
Also, the name suggests that is a one generation program. Unless they will call an eventual evolution the GT-R LM Nismo, GT-R LM Nismo 2...

It's going to be a two year program with this car. Hopefully they'll change the name to something that's less of a mouthful.
