Well, it's A BMW, I've gotten that far...

Wasn't sure cause it didn't have the trumpets but still looked M1-ish.

Holy crap, is than an M1? (edit: Real M1) What garage do you go to???

The best indy BMW mechanic in SF. He also built the below (nb: not the Porsche in the back, nor any cows, horses, or ranchers).

I think it's the only BMW engine that ever had script writing on the valve covers.

Ha! No, from the owner. He's a pretty cool guy, this is his 2nd or 3rd M1 (at least 1 is a pro car).
