As a teenager in 1977...I drove a VW.

I had at least a half dozen friends who owned Trans-Ams-everything from a 73 445 H.O. to a couple of "Bandit" Trans Am's, a Turbo Trans Am and my best friend had a seriously breathed on 75 Formula Firebird.

Did I miss out?

Maybe, but I probably would have seriously killed myself if I drove something with that much horsepower.

My breathed on V Dub might have had 80 to 90 horsepower....
