A Cadillac ELR is hogging the charging station. It happened only once, but it made a trip home very hard. Maybe I'll do a write up about our one instance of range anxiety.

fuck. that. car.
I called it that this car was gonna flop. When I was working at cadillac (about a year ago) all the salesmen said the CTS was ruined because it was going to be too pricey. They all had a huge boner for the ELR. The dealership ordered 30. We're going on 5 months and they haven't moved a single one. Meanwhile, they can't keep the CTS in stock, in fact, they have a waiting list. I'm not gonna say "I told you so".....but.....wait, no, that's exactly what I'm saying.

Somebody bought an ELR?

Yes! I was shocked. This was back in March even.

No, it's that moment when somebody in a Miata is hogging the only charging station in the town, and is way, way over the 15 minute limit for non-electric vehicles.
Since we drive a Volt, it wasn't a "range anxiety" moment, but more of a "I'm getting some chalk to shame this asshat" moment.

I present the i8; the car GM should have been building.

Are you sure the car didn't have manufacturer plates?

Nope, it had a temporary plate, like the ones you get after you buy it.
