I have had exactly one European car that was green exterior, and green interior (Audi 90 quattro B3), however in Europe, it seems to be quite popular. I love it. I would almost bring this 190E into this country because it has a stick, green cloth upholstery, steelies with hubcaps, manual heater controls and manual windows. If it was a diesel I would do it on principle. It would be like 3 grand to have it here in the States !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Looking clean!
I remember those radios came out to prevent theft I believe. I'm not too sure though.

I am pretty sure those Beckers were fixed. Not like a Saab 900/9000 classic Clarion with the built in handles

That looks so much better than the purple on purple Lacrosse Buick was showing at the NY Auto Show.

My first car was a green/green Ford Gran Torino. I hated the colors and the green interior meant that even if I had the money I couldn't really change the exterior color.

No, they were invisible, and only the owner who had the special glasses could see the head unit.

Technically, it was "Midnight Amethyst" with a "Sangria" interior, but yeah, it was like sitting inside Prince.

that creates a very interesting mental picture...sitting in Prince

It means either purple on purple or a Little Red Corvette.

I still have my complete Clarion setup. It doesn't work. I'm considering making it do such

Yeah, I've driven a Slushbox beater version. Also missing the radio.
Thief's like their radios I guess!

The equalizer fires up and waits for input. The deck itself has an internal short somewhere but it is 1980s tech. I'm sure I can fix it
After I fix my old Pioneer receiver though. It's from Germany.

Yeah but that still has a black dashboard. Merc used to really run wild with the colours of their plastics. Several years ago a friend was looking at used cars and we both ruled a W202 out due to it's all red interiour. Today, I would rock that like a pimp!

red on red is a good one too! Yeah Audi used to be wild with the all green and red and blue too!

My gramps had a triple green Lincoln. Dark green paint with green leather and a green vinyl roof.

No, it would encourage owners to take the radio with them.
