Weighed my '02 LS at a race weekend using the SCCA region's expensive scales. Nearly 50/50 and close to being cornered balanced. It has a 50.5 lb hardtop, full spare kit, the Bose and leather interior, 7 gallons of gas, heavy 16" 5-spokes, and the additional factory bracing found in '02+ NB's.

Wouldn't it be better to be somewhat heavier on the right side? (or left if it's RHD) Not many cars account for driver weight, do they? Just an observation.

It is LHD but you do have a point, it should be heavier on the right side to counter the weight of the driver.
