After almost a month of back-and-forth, the other guy's insurance company finally agreed to a fair value for my 66 Mustang. So now I really can get serious about my next fun ride, although I am not sure I will be able to love anything as much as I loved this car.

Good to see you've finally gotten a fair deal. Hope you get something as awesome as the 66 and I feel ya on the love classics make a bigger impact than any new car could.

Glad the insurance company came through finally. That's a very disturbing picture of your poor Mustang.

I have this strange feeling the truck didn't even hardly have a dent from the crash. Glad to hear you got what you deserved finally.

It's bumper was hurt! Actually, I am not sure how badly it was damaged as I already had been taken to the hospital before the police even showed up. But the guy clearly made the turn at speed in order to do that much damage to my car.

Thanks. The split among my friends is 50-50 as to whether the picture of the car is worse than the picture of me with blood all over my face, shirt, etc.!

I mean, it doesn't even look like the airbags went off in the truck! It's sad to see a classic die this way. Stupid, oblivious people!

Oooh, I don't want to see that picture. Yeah, that would be a toss-up.
