GM, wut r u doin? Sttaahhhpp. That grill doesn't work, quit just applying to cars where its design doesn't work.
I'll say it, Chevy's grill is worse than Lexus'. Boom. At least Lexus is trying and it fits the rest of the car.
And its not like GM doesn't employ a ton of good designers …. what is going on over there. This is not #Design.

HAHA. I saw the article.
I was like. CHEVY. THERE LITERALLY WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS CAR.
Nobody last year was like, you know what would make me want this car more, a new nose.

I'm 2000% sure that's a shop.

Why are they even refreshing a car that came out in '08? Its time for a all new model.

If the grill was flipped upside down it wouldn't look bad...

NOPENOPENOPENOPE. What the fuck chevy!?

They've taken a fairly attractive car and ruined it. That grill is awful.

But its not flipped upside down though :(.

Aww Maaaaaaan. And I was becoming a fan of the Hybrid-fighting Diesel Cruz. :(

Cruze needs to into Impala grille.

The Chevy Cruze is definitely NOT keeping Austin weird.

Oh look. They're milking the old Cruze for everything its worth. Just like the Cavalier, it'll live on for a decade and be absolutely terrible versus everything else out there. Good work, GM. Good work. Good to know you kept the VLEs around. Good to know you're letting the bean-counters run the show again. Good to know that you still believe 57 cents is a lot of money to spend per car.
Fuck you GM. Fuck you.

To me, the lower part of the grille looks alright, since they tried to make it match the 2014 Malibu.
It's the upper part of it that really bugs me. It goes up into the hood area, it never looked right.
I would have ditched the upper part, then raised the larger lower part up to just below the hood line, and put the bowtie in that. That would be a handsome update.

We got this in the US in 2010. Not sure if it was available elsewhere, but it isn't THAT old. I think it was actually a 2011 model.

Ah, you're right. I just checked wiki fast and I guess it debuted in South Korea as a '09 model in late '08.
But that still means the design is that old.

Well I guess that means we were both right!

I like it, it makes it look bigger. And I see the inspiration for the grille.

You must be an extremely positive person. Like when there is a earthquake you're all like "At least we get to redecorate!"

Hey GM, if it was your idea to make a smaller uglier Chrysler 200, GREAT F@#$ING JOB!!!

This upper grille, why it is there.

Pick a corporate grill and stick with it. I prefer the Impala/Camaro route. This looks like a tiny Malibu and why on earth would you want to copy that.
I'm a big GM fanboy and this is really making me sad.

Now it looks like an Equinox.
That's not a compliment.
