So, Saabs seem to hold a special place in most of our hearts. I remember my first Saab experience. It was my mom's Saab 900, and I loved it. Another thing most of us love is rally racing. But what happens when you mix the two?
The Classic Car Gallery, a local fancy used car dealership (thats the best way I can think to describe it right now), often has some awesome cars in their inventory. I checked last night and found something rather interesting. It's a 1970 Saab 96 rally car and its for sale for $29,900.
What do you think, Oppo? Is this Smurf blue vintage rally-er worth just under $30k?

You'd have to really love Saab to buy one for 30,000 dollars

We know the guys at the CCG super well, and I've seen this car in person several times. If anyone is looking for a period-correct, rally-spec-but-street-legal piece of Saab history in its purest form, this is the perfect car. Plus, just look at it.

I've seen the car in person once. CCG was on my way home from school last year so I stopped in all the time and whenever I'm back home. Honestly, if I was looking for something like this and the money, I would plop down the $30k for this. It's just too cool.

Oh, there are plenty of people who do. I honestly don't think its that bad of a price. The only other 96 I could find for sale was just under $10k, plus $20k (I'm sure its probably a little negotiable, too) because race car! But did you see the Swedish Porsche 912 rally car that someone posted the other day? $160k for a 912... No one loves 912s that much. No one.

Wow I did not see that. Yikes someone has overly high hopes for their car.
