That looks like a blast to drive. Off-road adventures are calling me...

Probably the safest & most fun Metro on the road.

Why bother with a plate when you're going to get pulled over in approximately 20 seconds for no lights or mirrors?
I do like that it has The Club (tm).

The owner offered it for free on Reddit earlier, don't know if anyone took it.

Wow seriously? If it were closer to me, I'd be on that in a heartbeat.

The plate is hard to read. Where is it?

I wonder what engine it has. With an unlimited budget I'd get a real cage done, get a G16 and turbo it, build a firewall behind the front seats, mid-mount the engine, build a good shell so that it outwardly looked like a metro again, and proceed to be kicked out of every local rallycross event.

I think he said L.A., but maybe San Diego.

It'd be fun to fuck with people here in Florida since it's probably street legal.

most fun? yes. safest? idk, that roll bar doesn't look thick enough to do anything. lol

Yeah I lived in Fort Myers for 4 years, I wouldn't doubt it's street legal-ness.

True, but it's still probably an order of magnitude stiffer than the stock body on those. My parents used to have a '92 4-door. When they locked their keys inside, they literally pried the top edge of the door open far enough for my sister reach her arm inside and unlock it. Granted, the roof might be stiffer than the door, but I still wouldn't trust my family's safety to one of those sardine cans.
