I might suggest that the post is too long. One thing I've learned about this place, and Gawker sites in general, is that many long posts simply don't get looked at. Think of your post like your resume. It's going to get looked at for maybe 30 seconds, and that's probably generous. Most people don't want to take the time to scroll through 85 photos. Perhaps try to be more selective with your shots. Pick out the best of the best. It's hard, I know. But I've written long articles and I've posted one liners. The one liners always get more responses.
