So why don't we relax and enjoy this site for what it is: appreciation of driving pleasure and automotive nirvana. Maybe your transmission ecstasy isn't derived from riding a heavy clutch in rush hour traffic, but I'll be damned if I ever find anything more enjoyable than wringing out a nice, agile car and rowing my own down a nice, rural road. Too many small sites have become too serious, and I'd hate to see a lighthearted, tight community lose its virtues over small differences of opinion or personality. Let's keep Oppo oppo — hail to the manual, wagon, diesel and Miata.

It's still a pretty small site, and you really get to know people. That's what's great about this community. I'd hate to see the dynamic here change much more, hence this post.
