Smash is quite good. Honestly I love all their 90's albums. The 1989 self titled one is ok too, it's a little rougher though, but i mean it's completely understandable they were just starting out.

That was on the Americana album. Honesty while I like that album a lot, I am not a huge fan of that particular song, although I could probably recite the lyrics off the top of my head.

All of their 90's stuff is good. I actually prefer Ixnay to Smash but it's real close.
