Photos were taken at this past weekend's Portland Cars and Coffee, which had a lousy turn out due to rain and other events. That gave me a chance to try a few things out with my D800E and the two best lenses that I have for it: a 70-800mm f/2.8 VR II and a new-ish Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art.

I hope the weather is much nicer this weekend for the meetup... If it's raining I'm not going to come :/ Mostly because driving 6 hours round trip in a small car with a somewhat leaky top on a rain soaked freeway is not fun. But I really want to be there!

I'd get it in white, partially because I love my white cars, partially because I don't want to match AFL exactly, when I park next to him. Because if I had one of these beautiful machines, I'd drive it down to Tigard every chance I got. Also, I'd have a lot more money...

Ugh. I'm worried about this too. Not so much the driving, since (if we come) we'll be taking the Subaru, not the M3 (sadface) but because I don't want the turnout to be crappy. Either way, I'm making plans to get down there. I guess if nobody shows up, you and I will get to know each other real well...

My buddy just picked up an A5 and I've grown quite fond of Audis since. I'd get one, but I'm still not convinced on one thing: reliability. How has yours been in that department?

The only issues that I've had with my S5 was a cam sensor that needed to be check out and front brakes re-done due to a TSB. The driver info display had locked up and required me to give the MMI system a three-finger salute.

Yeah, but at least it's not quite as bad as black or Audi's Estoril Blue. That said, once it's pollenated air season, my car will look like it's green with some blue peeking out :D

It's a 2011 that arrived in August 2010 and currently has around 33K miles on it. I put a lot of miles on it the first year and a half, then that decreased as I have been traveling a bit more by air or extended loaner cars as part of reviewing them for my blog.
