245 section tires. . .

Need something similar for the Datassun..

I like stance but this is a part of it I don't understand. Why not just have more tire? The owner put all that money into wheels & tires and my car stock will still have more grip with a 10 inch rim and a 255 tire.
I guess its about looks, I'll shut up now.

Fatass wheels, or skinny tires?

Its about looks, but you shouldn't put safety in front of it. Stretching a tire that much is never a good idea. The optimal size for that tires is 9" wide wheel. This is 2.5" wider than that!

True …. also they need a better jack.

Meh. Needs 285s.

I think a 305 would be perfect but I like big sidewalls.

That jack comes with the car. You are supposed to use it for flats.

Did you know there's an E85 200whp tune ? They're working on a 91 Octane tune too. Says you'll need a few parts to make 200 with the 91 tune, but hot damn., that's like 35hp.
![]() 03/31/2014 at 12:47 |

I did not know that. I know a few people did some E85 tunes for 200whp, but not 91. Also have you seen the intake runner spacers from Crawford?

No, I have not.

They basically make it so you get power earlier in the power band. So you get something like this. Also this is 3rd party. Where the thick line is the spacers with a tune and the dotted is stock with a tune.

They'd be good for protecting against curb rash. Then again, each tire would probably cost as much as each wheel at a size like that...

True story, but he has the cash to buy 11.5" wheels(13.5" in the rear!), you would think he could afford tires!
![]() 03/31/2014 at 15:11 |

13.5" wheels? Is there a build thread somewhere? That's ridiculous. Think of the weight savings that could be had by using a properly-sized tire!

Tire and wheel combination is what I meant, obviously.

No build thread, but here is what he posted. These are all the pictures that he has sadly.

"Ohiins coilovers , ls3 swap with goals of 600hp, built suspension and tuned , wilwood bbk , caged interior , that's just some of the things happening to this frs"
Those are some lofty goals...and a big waste of $$$ if you're running that wheel and tire combo...
