My girlfriend's dad has a black '97 328i with the sport package and it's a really good car. It sings when you're thrashing it. It was out of commission for a while though... Fuckin' snow.

LOL, the E36 gets TONS of love on here. It's up there with the miata IMO in that it gets a bit too much love and oral service.

240 horsepower from a 3.2 engine in the 90s wasn't a really common thing. The E36 would probably my favorite generation look-wise.

Nope, definitely E36 love goes on too. Lots of E30 for sure but plenty of people drive E36s of all sorts and recommend them to others. There is zero shortage of older BMW love since theyre cheap and oppos are all about cheap.
