Spotted on my BU and Northeastern tour, in which I also saw two brand new M6s and a new M5, five E92 M3s, an E46 M3 and ZHP, an S65, an X5M, a B6 S4, A flat black S7, several various-generation Golf GTIs, and a golf wrapped in pink matte with teal wheels.

I'm assuming you didn't see the Bentley, maseratis, GT-Rs, 911s or S-Class's. Go to school in/around Boston and it becomes commonplace seeing (international for the most part) students driving cars that cost more than 4 years of school.

Yup. And he passed a taxi as we were walking by. You could hear the turbos spool as he came towards us, as he passed us, and then the exhaust not. WOT, or close. Amazing.

Saw four M5s today, a mixture of E60, E61 and F10. A mixture of E46 and E90 M3s. And I saw a Volvo 240. And some prewar can I never even managed to get a picture of.

1) 8049 is a legendary microprocessor from the 80's.
2) HP is a company that makes electronics. (the 8049 was originally intel made, then copied)
3) Boston is full of nerdy professors living in the past.
Or it could be a joke that his car is microprocessor powered. (which most cars are btw)
