Pictured is an interior of the upper echelon of luxury vehicles. Is it really the nicest of interiors though? It doesn't seem to do much for me. So what do you say is the nicest interior, and what components specifically evoke that greatness?
Is luxury really your only consideration? Or does sportiness help out possibly a la Aston Martin interiors?
I've been contemplating this looking at different interior and even modified interiors on cars lately, and can't really seem to find anything I think is really the greatest. So what say you?

I don't have a picture, but I love the interior of that new Volvo wagon concept.

That is pretty nice, I must say. For some reason, most steering wheels ruin the cars for me. I don't see many modern but nicely designed steering wheels.

I'd prefer that interior, with this steering wheel.

True, it is very clean looking. I do like it a lot.

much better.
I still have to say, I don't like the hard weird material most wheels use either, and leather wears too much. I'd like to try out alcantera or whatever else is used some time.

Hahaha. The huayra does have a super sweet interior, pretty steam punk looking.
But yeah, now I can't unsee that face.

This is from an Evora... does that count?

Simplicity can be beautiful. I like it! Purposeful wheel that fits the car too, I'm picky with steering wheels and I don't know why.

Yeah, I'd like an older S4 with Alcantera. Most of the Audi cars have leather steering wheels though.

Yeah I'm picky with wheels too. Sometimes they don't look right and it ruins the entire interior.

I haven't actually ever driven a car with an alcantera wheel, but I imagine good things.

Most of the time, in my opinion. Very few wheels fit their interiors to me :(

The Tt Rs I belive uses an alcantera wheel. I haven't driven a car with an alcantera steering wheel though.

Its nice enough, but not as nice as the exterior. Still, blue leather.

very nice, I hate the center of the wheel not matching the alcantera of the rim, me being picky again with steering wheels. Very nice indeed either way.

Screw what everyone says about it being too busy with too many different materials

I actually do like the interior on the new caddys. I have sat in them, and did enjoy them. In fact, more than some of the BMWs and Mercedes and Audis.

Every major auto magazine has criticized the amount of different materials in use in the interior. Would they rather them go back to this?

LOL no kidding. IDK what they are bitching about, they just like to bitch about GM interiors. It's the hipster thing to do.

That's because they were shit for so long. Now that they're good, they had to find something else to complain about.

Stripped interiors for the win!

lol. This is true. Very much like the corvette interiors, shit nobody can stand the fact that an american manufacturer is making something quality again...

I love the GT3 RS 4.0 interior. It's very simple but is put together well. Very driver oriented, and Porsche steering wheels are uncluttered and plain which I really like.

Actually I do like that a lot. I do like simplicity and drive centric design, not too much fuss going on.

Call me strange, but I quite like the look of the BMW i3:

I've always liked the XJ's interior.
No, not that XJ, the Jaaaaag XJ:
I love how the wood (or carbon fiber, or whatever you choose) wraps around in an arc. Though I'd choose Figured Ebony:

Okay. Maybe a bit biased here, but for the price, you cannot beat it. Soft-Touch everything.

I'd say it's up there. My bias says corvette is a better deal :P
Where the deal gets good though is the R. $99k for the F-type R is not bad at all.

I can certainly agree with you on the Corvette. You're getting serious performance for an incredibly low price! For the F-Type, that is also amazing! :)

I don't know about now, but in 1994 I think the best interior you could get was from an Infiniti J30. I had one, in 2003, and it was fantastic.
