Sale price of the car was 30,855...I ask for an out the door price including the 8% sales tax that applies to my customer. They send me- 36,227. Did they not think I could do math? More details on Monday....

They backed off and fixed the price...my customer already had a deposit and it is close by for them...had she gone elsewhere I would put them on blast.

I had a Jeep dealer do that to me too. We sat down at the table and he wrote two numbers on the paper 36xxx and 30xxx. The Jeep had a 30xxx MSRP so I presumed the 36 was my Audi trade (KBB had the Adui at 38k). So I said well 36 is a bit low for my Audi and I think you can do better on the Jeep. He looked at me confused for a minute or so and then said, no no no, I think you misunderstand, the 36 is our car, the 30 is yours...
