Really near home, quickly called my parents and asked if they were okay, and my dad said they were fine and then asked me if I was okay. DOOD I'M IN OKLAHOMA. But yeah, apparently it's really big and I'm going to be pretty pissed if that was "The Big One" because I didn't live in California for 13 years only to miss "The Big One."

Whereabouts in CA was it? I'm in San Luis Obispo and didn't feel a thing.

I experienced a 5.2 back in 2008... it came from the Wabash Fault in Illinois.
It was awesome! Very intense, but not big enough to cause any damage.

La Habra, which is why all of my friends in high school are panicking and posting pictures of their tipped over cabinets on Facebook since we all went to school in Fullerton.

Sorry this isn't the big one since we got mild shaking in the south bay. That beast will be over 7.5 and will probably do a great deal of damage.

Also here is the current spread of all the aftershocks or swarm. USGS

The worst I ever felt was I think a 3.0-something that was also next to my area. Right now, the 3.0-somethings are their aftershocks.

I felt it here in San Diego. WTF California?

5.1 south and east of downtown LA

It did shake shit up and knocked a few things over. Not a bad little quake but nowhere near a "Big One", at least from where I am.

You are in SLO? NO SHIT?! I am gonna be working for the County in about a week! But I did not feel any earthquake and I work in Lompoc.

Not even close to "The Big One", unfortunately.

How you go from a 5.1 quake to an overturned BMW is beyond me, but they went there.

It wasn't big enough to warrant freaking out. I'm 16 miles from the epicenter.

Were just getting started! There's been a couple decent sized quakes up along California in the last few months. Something big is probably brewing

It's the Ultimate Driving Machine.
Maybe that guy and his car was living.
On the edge.

My parents are about 10 miles away. Most of my friends were within 5 miles away though. At home a plate and two bottles of soy sauce broke mainly.
Two damn good bottles of soy sauce though.
