Not a fan of that last comic there. Is there another one you can use to point out that the platform of the Republican Party is not being overly fond of non-whites?

The graphic design in these images, along with the assumption that an American opposition party is comparable to mass murders, is giving me cancer.

i'm sure nobody takes these people seriously.

As a lifelong Democrat, I would just like to say that no good ever comes from arguing about politics on the internet. So instead, here's a beautiful Lincoln Continental courtesy of Petrolicious .

The quote isn't even accurate.

It isn't about the color of the people from their platform, it is about the views of some of them. Don't worry, it is taken off.

Again, is about the views, the fact that many tea party rotten core conservatives would think exactly like the taliban, and would do the same, if it wasn't for the authorities to take care of them, is a different story.

WTF?!?! I am not a Tea Party member but seriously WTF??? Are you serious?
Confused Libertarian is confused...

Yes, the American Republican party would publicly execute adulterers and attack school girls with acid, if it wasn't for those brave Democrats.

You need to get out of the internet echo chamber my friend.

... yea, they're only affecting our laws, no biggie! See also: Michigan, the Mississippi of the North, and our sweet new law preventing even private insurance from covering abortions without a separate rider, which no one offers, but must be purchased 8 months in advance of the procedure. Even our Republican governor shot this down but a petition signed by 4% of the state's population can somehow get around that.
Actually considering moving to Canada.

Thank you, sir.

I was wondering about that too.

Forwards from Grandma rarely are accurate.

Some people fight ideological wars with guns and murder, other people fight them with dollars and law. No real right or wrong about it, they're just different tools.
But yeah, those graphics are radioactive.

Well, the distance from killing a doctor for doing his job and the actions you mentioned is shorter than it looks. When someone wants his religious views, on women's rights, to be the law, that person thinks quite a lot like the taliban. You don't need to kill to be like the taliban, unjust laws, based on religious views, bring you pretty close.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the democrats either, as I clearly stated on the few politics posts, I made on Oppo, during the years.

Scott Roeder followed the Sovereign Citizens Movement; I wouldn't describe him as a Republican.

Ontario is like Michigan, but broke-er.

Broke is better than broke and insane.

I seriously thought I was alone in my views here. Although I guess not about that stuff specifically... I think the majority of right-leaning Opponauts are Libertarians or something similar. As far as social stuff goes, we're a pretty cool bunch. If only the rest of the country reflected that....
That Tennessee thing makes me want to go punch a baby though. How can people be such assholes and seriously think it's okay?

Tealiban??? ...oh, tea party! ...I needed a little time to get it. But indeed, gay marriage is shit.

The problem with Libertarians isn't the party, it's the people who identify with it. Libertarianism is about only getting the government involved in stuff to the extent necessary, and no more. The operative phrase is "to the extent necessary," because it does mean the government should be involved. However, most who claim to be Libertarian are of the "government should be totally hands-off" mindset, and that just can't work.

Argh, foiled again by the Great Dark Age of the Internet!

Tennessee lawmakers are missing something that I call sense of ridiculousness, you know, when your brain is saying "stop it dumbass, you're ridiculous".
