We have to do something! Quick, everyone look in your couches! Check the pockets your old jackets! Steal out of your kids' piggy banks if you have to, we can't let the company that penned these glorious machines:

fade into obscurity! They have to keep making awesome cars, they have to!

didn't see anything respectable since the 90's. let them die, and hopefully their memories fade slowly.
this isn't too bad:
but i'm gonna go ahead and convince myself they didn't allow themselves to stick around long enough to become awful.

IMO they've had some pretty cool designs in the last 20 years or so:
They're nowhere near as radical or iconic as their earlier work, but it's still sad to see a company with such a storied history on the ropes. They were one of the last independent design houses to be doing totally crazy stuff and I've always respected them for that.

I read an article in a classic car magazine yesterday that stated that they were bankrupt (knew that already), and that the rights to their designs had ended up with some Chinese investment firm. It went on to explain that they were now planning on building iconic Ferraris, Alfas, and Lamborghinis again. With some old VW mills from VW do Brasil which have power outputs between 70 (petrol) and 80 hp (for the N/A diesel). I felt the rage swelling up inside me. "How could they....!!!! A Countach with 70 hp, that's blasphemy!!!!" But then I remembered that it was their April issue and that they do shit like this every year.
