I've mostly just lurked here for quite awhile, occasionally posting when something peaks my interest. Lately I have been see all the Hot Wheels posts and It's started me down the road of collecting them once again. Back in '98 and '99 I bought quite a few HotWheels and had a decent size collection. Over the years I started giving some away to my nephews and friend's kids and keeping only my really favorite ones. I started going through all my old boxes and found some of the collection I had stored almost 15 years ago and pulled them back out for the first time. I'll post some pictures here of the old stuff as well as some of the newer stuff I picked up in the last few days. As I find more of my Hot Wheels Collection I'll start posting more pics, I know have a bunch more especially some of the collector's series cars.

In all seriousness...just wow. Those are pretty spectacular.

Also, green number 3 in the mystery picture...I just picked up a similar one in yellow. I've yet to get a picture of it posted...gotta get to that one of these days.

I have a bunch more those that are open I just couldn't bring myself to open those, especially the Vipers. I'm still looking for the opened ones so I can get some pics to show.

Regular Hot Wheels on cards I have no trouble opening.

Matchbox cars that come with boxes, special-edition Hot Wheels, Greenlights, etc... I don't like to open. I believe the cars were meant to be out-of-package, but those really special ones I hate to remove.

I'm not super well versed in Ranchero bodystyles, but the only one I've seen has been a '72. They are still pretty common in most stores.

Drat. ill have to keep looking then. I found a johnny lightning '70 Torino not too long ago, and its got the same face as the '70 Ranchero.

Actually they did them in at least 3 colors since I have 3 different ones. All 1972's

I just looked it up on one of the hot wheels websites. They only make the '72 body style and a '65 body style
