![]() 03/26/2014 at 12:54 |

Corvair does.

When your just parked, yeah. They're actually more functional than the two sarcastic holders in the center council.

1994 Volvo 850 GLT had them.

I have the same E36 glovebox, so yes. Although it is currently not installed in the car.

You don't like the cupholders in the console?
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:06 |

'86 944 had them.
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:25 |

E36/5 doesn't, AW11 has no cupholders period

The ultimate glovebox: the 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham and its magnetic shot glasses.

The E36/5 didn't come with the picnic holders, just another interesting difference between them and the regular E36
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:46 |

They're useless
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:47 |

Do you exclusively drink red bull?
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:50 |

I haven't had a red bull in years upon years.
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:51 |

Then what do you put in them?
![]() 03/26/2014 at 13:52 |
|
Mostly just coffee cups.

How did I drive my dad's old E36 so many times and never know this existed? Is it possible that not all models had them?
![]() 03/26/2014 at 14:07 |
|
The E36/5's did not have them, apparently.
![]() 03/26/2014 at 14:21 |

No I don't. At the moment my car has two cupholders with room for two cups in each. So room for four cups total. All of those are for the rear passengers, the driver and the front passenger don't have cup holders. Did I mention I drive a coupe?
French cars, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Pretty sure my 86 Cressida Wagon has them
![]() 03/26/2014 at 14:45 |

Nope, my car has no cupholders of any sort. There is, however, a little gap between the passenger seat and door that's absolutely perfect for holding pretty much any common drink-container:
That's French ingenuity for you.

whats an e36/5?
![]() 03/27/2014 at 11:43 |
|
I don't, but I do have 9 cup holders. 3 in the center jump seat/console that I bought to replace the original front seat and give me some storage plus two on the bracket that it is attached to that I had originally then two on the back of the console and two in the back doors. Silverados are made to haul things after all.

Its a 318ti, A pillar forward its identical to any other E36 but it has an updated semi trailing arm real suspension from the E30. Here's mine.

My Superb II doesn't but I can channel the AC to the glove box to keep my drinks chilled and it does have something only one or two other cars have.
An umbrella in the rear passenger door.

My center console holds a 32 oz foam cup from convenience stores. Although I do drive a Ford Ranger. Murica! Truck Yea!
