According to this article from the Truth About Cars, The Cavalier is #2 in terms of popularity on car domain. (well it was in 2008).

This is the Cavalier's greatest accomplishment, aside from being the #1 most hated car on Oppo.

The amazing thing about the Aveo was it was like the Cavalier, only a step backwards.

I agree with you entirely on that, All the Aveos at the shop at school are just horrible, and had something broken. One of them wouldn't allow the key to be pulled out, unless the battery gets disconnected.

We have a ton of J-Bodies at the shop, they aren't that bad, although we had about 10 of them gutted for their quad fours.

Well, they are cheap. Even well kept examples are like 2-3K these days from car lots. Not very much for a car with 60,000 kms that will run another 240K.

Yeah, the Aveo is the benchmark for bad.

Well, since that car is discontinued, maybe the new Mirage could take its place...
