Image problems

Half of the time, images take forever to load. Before they load, all they show is pastel pink and blue. Am I the only one with this problem?

Related to some things we tried to roll out, specifically the ability to view all images on mobile devices. We've taken it back to tighten up before redeploying. You shouldn't see gradients anymore.
