This simple feature, auto refreshing, just like Facebook. Duh

That would be fairly useful.
And not to beat a dead horse, but Tigeroff was nice.

And would an app for notifications be too much to ask? I would use it for sure. Do it for all of gawker. Doesn't even have to be site-specific.

Shit, fill it with ads for all I care! I just want to know if someone replied to me! I DESPERATELY WANT TO USE YOUR WEBSITES ALL THE TIME, GAWKER! I'M JUST ASKING YOU TO LOAD THE GUN AND I WILL DO THE REST!

I am surprised they havent sold ad space on OPPO yet. But yeah, why the hell not. We might not get a ton of uniques, but I would love to see the loyalty and page view stats

Oh, we get quite a few uniques, actually...nearly 600k last 30 days. Pageviews is pretty bonkers, too:
It helps that if something is shared to the frontpage, clicking on that will take you to the blog it was posted on originally. And all the traffic feeds into the overarching Jalopnik domain, so it's win-win for Gawker.
