1990 Porsche 928 S4 with just 50k miles! Sadly it's an auto and has aftermarket wheels.

Those wheels do not go with that car in my opinion.

CRACK PIPE. I could buy a 914, and a 924 for that price, and be a lot happier.

Later model Porsche wheels on a 928 are nothing new, and the easiest thing in the world to change.

And almost all 928s were built as automatic cars, manual gearboxes were increasingly rarer in later model years, so being an automatic is no big surprise. I would prefer a manual gearbox example, myself...

If the car is in good shape, maintenance wise, it is hard to get a better V8 Grand Touring sport coupe... and one could likely exchange those late model porsche wheels for original-style 928 wheels, or other later-model Porsche wheels that look better on the car... like 996 C4S/Turbo wheels, TechArt Formulas, or something else.

I'd say borderline NP. But there's no such thing as a "928 GT/S4" as the seller lists this car.

There was a 1989-1991 928 GT which weighed a little less than the S4, stiffer suspension, higher-compression pistons, had a standard LSD. But it was manual transmission only. I think starting in '89 there were no more manual transmission S4s in the US, only GTs.

The '90 S4 got the pistons from the GT, and the '90 GT got an electronic LSD (pretty crazy for 1990!) and both the S4 and GT were replaced by the GTS in 1992.

But I think it's a bit of a stretch to call it a "GT/S4" just because it happens to be a '90 which means it has a slightly higher compression ratio than the '87-'89 S4.
