The skies were blue, the sun was out and there was a huge turnout at Portland Cars and Coffee on Saturday. There were also a huge variety of cars that came out, including classic American iron, a Phantom Drophead coupe, a 911 GT3 RS and a GT2, a Ford GT40 kit car, a Ferrari F12berlinetta, an Unimog... I could go on, but I'll let the pictures do the talking.
Photos were taken with a Nikon D800E and either a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 Art or a Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II.
Due to the number of photos taken the processed, you'll probably want to wander over to !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

Ah no pictures of my 2 buddies Mirages? One is a multicolored Evo IV conversion and the other is a white coupe. The Evo IV has body parts on it that I used to own.
And apparently there was a silver Ferrari (I think, going off of memory from seeing one of their FB posts over the weekend) parked next to/near them.

Don't remember any silver Ferraris. There was one last week though.

My friends and I play a little "game" where we try to get him in our shots. Funny to see you accidentely do the same. I'll have to send him the picture!

Re-looking at my buddy's picture, maybe it wasn't cars and coffee he went to.

I couldn't get around to every car, but will keep an eye out for 'em the next time they are there.

There is another C&C in Portland at Cascade Station. It was probably that one.

Yeah, I didn't see him until I looked at the photos in Lightroom, but his pose and look on his face actually made the photo for me. I opted to process this one over the other ones without people in it.

I was completely wrong. Looks like they were at PIR. My bad.

Yeah, they weren't there. They were at PIR. I was wrong.

That's okay. Would love to see them come out to C&C and check out their cars.

Next time I talk to him, I may see if he ever goes to any C&C's.

Very nice collection! How does everyone know about the event? I'd love to go to something in Ottawa but I never know where to check for dates/locations.

For Portland Cars and Coffee, it's been both word of mouth and we have a group page on Facebook with details and conversations. It also helps that said meet is every Saturday at the same location and time, rain or shine. There are other people who are on Ferrari Chat and other car forums that post out info on the meet.
I'd check out any group pages on Facebook in Ottawa, car forums or car-related mailing lists (yeah, some of those still exist) and see what you can find. Hopefully there's a regular meet that's open to anyone :)

I saw that from afar and had to do a relative close-up shot of it :)

Sorry. Stupid tablet annotating shit for me. I could have sworn I hit cancel not publish. Nice coverage though and thanks for sharing. FRS/BRZ's were rolling deep!
:D

Heh... I've kind of given up trying to do a lot of reading and commenting on my tablet or smartphone as it's lead to a few moments of hilarity and/or fail. :)
The wide selection of cars at Portland Cars and Coffee, along with the mix of people, makes it my Saturday morning institution. I try to reflect as much of that in my photography.

Hahaha I want to throw my tablet/phone out the window while trying to comment on Oppo. I like your photos, I checked some of your other C&C sets on Flickr. I'm personally dying to go to my first C&C (Larz Anderson Auto Museum). Nice S5 btw. Lol.

Thanks! I'm not a pro-level photographer in anyway, but it's a way for me to release some of the pent up stress during the week. It also lets my creative part of my brain (albeit a pretty small piece) get some action ;)
