It's an app for Android phones and maybe others but I'm not sure. But anyway, it's just easy to use; it records in intervals that you choose yourself (standard is 2 minutes, mine is set at 5) and saves the last two clips (or three if you change the settings) automatically, unless you tap the screen during one. Then, it permanently saves that clip instead of overwriting it like it usually would. You can mess with tons of different settings, too, so that it can record exactly how you want it to. This might be old news, but I thought I'd share. I'll put together a temporary mount tonight and hopefully I'll have a short video up tomorrow.

I wonder how well it would work with an older Android phone, like 600 MHz slow.

Thanks for posting that! Guess it's as good as the smartphone camera it works with.
Couldn't help but notice the irony: Portland WRX dude is a pretty aggressive driver himself...
