it would just reinforce the fact that the vette is becoming a white-trash Ferrari. methinks they missed the boat by not following through with the aerovette. that's sounds worse than it is. nee'd moar scoops, bubba, can't put the motor in the back 'cause it'll eat my mullet.

Maybe my comment was too terse. The XLR is the production car based on the stylings of the Ciel. But as with most concept to production transitions a lot of the futuristic aspects were set aside for reproducibility - no scissor doors, no mid-engine, but you get the hardtop convertible and active cruise control.
