This should be something interesting...
A friend of mine's parents are looking for a vehicle that will accommodate my friend and his wheelchair, and are considering buying a new-ish van and converting it, as they do not want to use their current van, a 2003 Caravan, for the conversion. That's when I suggested the MV-1, as it could be a better fit.

So that's what these things are! I've seen a few of these driving around. I thought they were some new weird Honda Element type-thing.

Aren't they purpose built diesels with great gas mileage? That's a great
car*ish* for your friend and his family.

Hmmm, for more comfort I would suggest a newer van that was converted for handicap accessibility.

Haha, I originally saw the same thing, a taxi was the first one I saw.

I'm afraid not, as they use a Ford 4.6, but it would be great if a Cummins or a Duramax could be swapped in.

The current problem is cost, the price of a new van + conversions is quite expensive, hence why I suggested this, which is a bit more purpose built.

Yeah. If I were Hancicapped, I would feel more comfortable in a conversion van. Possibly a used one?

I thought they ran off of a small Diesel engine. My mistake, I've only seen a few of these.
