before my stupid offbrand Gopro's supposedly waterproof case failed and nuked the camera with saltwater. (note the "goddamn it" when I notice as much in the video) At least up till the death it took clear video, but I am pissed.

Because a waterproof camera case, is not something you should buy cheap.

Truth. The worst part is if I'd had a chance to test it beforehand, I have some leftover rubber gasket material that could have sealed it properly, but it came in the mail the same day we left on the trip, so I had no opportunity.
