I need to get myself one of those Subaru Outback sedans and swap in a Legacy GT engine and drivetrain. I'd get all the awesomeness of the GT but with the ruggedness and offroad ability of the Outback.

We have them in Colorado, too. I've always wanted one.

I could have sworn they were New England only. Hang on, lemme check the Wikipedia page... Okay, it turns out that the initial roll-out was in NE and then the rest of the country the following year.

I think they were sold everywhere. We definitely got them in Oregon.

Yeah I remember how silly it sounded when they called them SUS (sport utility sedans). In Washington the Outback is actually the best selling vehicle, so it would be surprising if we didn't get ALL of the Subarus.

I think it would be easier to get an LGT and raise the swap the suspension.

Yeah but you need the chunky body cladding too. It's just not the same without it.

It's quite rare for me to spot one of those Outback sedans, we got the wagons instead. and speaking of which, I found a cheap one near me.
