My MR2 got lucky. I'm the 8th owner, and the car has lived in 6 different states. I couldn't believe how clean it was when I got it, all it really needed was some immediate preventative maintenance and a timing belt. Safe isn't exactly the right word for it though, I drive the car pretty much daily currently, so it gets into some interesting situations. I have people try to kill it on a regular basis, typically once a week.

True, we'll see how long I manage to keep it classy. I really don't think I'll do any more exterior work aside from lowering it a little, maybe a slightly different wing to match the 94/95 oem wing.

Now the MR2 will go through its internal modifications phase, although I think it'll be over a year before my build is "done". People are stupid. I have almost Tboned people, been run off the road, etc; just people not using the jelly spheres in their head. I can't even imagine if I was still riding a motorcycle while riding here, I get freaked out by other people.

The irony is that I'm completely at ease getting a little sideways on a snow day or in the rain, but other drivers will put me on the verge of panic attack. I'd be devastated to lose the MR2 to a careless driver.

thats funny... it looks almost exactly the same as the c7 carbon wide body kit made for the 3000gt with a ferrari sticker so im pretty sure it only cost an extra 3.5k. where did you get the idea it was a ferrari body kit? easiest and smartest way to find out is join a forum and create a thread and post the picture asking whats going on so your less apt to making random declarative statements that leave you feeling like a fool in retrospect
