That TV show that came on Discovery Channel hosted by Jesse James where they turned cars into crazy shit?
Yeah, I do. I kind of want to watch some reruns just for fun :P

Definitely, used to watch it a lot growing up. Was totally pointless, but it definitely has helped with the DIY bug.

This was one of my favorite shows as a kid. I still have the Monster Garage book I bought at the book fair. I respect Jesse James, he is a good business man and father.

My favorite was a Mustang lawn mower I believe it was.
It was like they did what west coast customs does but they were aware it was a joke!

Holy shit, I bet you I've got that same book! I read it at least 3 times haha

That and junkyard wars. I miss those shows

I watched a little. I really liked the wheelchair-accessible one they did once since it had a practical use. Still, it couldn't hold a candle to Pimp My Ride.

Holy shit yes Junkyard Wars was the best

Good show. You'd also like Ultimate Car Build-off.

LOVED Monster Garage. That show and my grandpa are probably the two things that kickstarted my obsession with cars. I'm a huge fan of Jesse James as well. I think hes ridiculously talented.

HOLY MOTHER OF...! Ok, build up the frame, put a fuel tank on it that'll last more than a mile, and I'd buy THAT monster!

Whoops! Wrong message! I really, REALLY hate the new Kinja!

HOLY MOTHER OF...! Ok, build up the frame, put some proper shocks on it, put a fuel tank on it that'll last more than a mile, and I'd buy THAT monster!

You couldn't see it in the first photo because of the rear wheels, but the fuel tank's taken care of

Sorry, I was talking about the Peterbilt Trike. Itty bitty fuel tank that likley would get you a mile down the highway.

I knew the girl that was on the hillclimb episode. She raced a Rabbit in hillclimbs in Vt. Made the best quote in the whole series. Jesse just showed up a couple times thru the week -for less than an hour each time. He wanted "stance" more worried about being cool than being functional. When building it (Ryes Millen was also on the build-and is no dummy) and the crew we discussing how to do it, and how they wanted to build it correct-Sarah replied "we just won't tell him."
Jesse said that hillclimbing was the only thing he did that scared him-and he wasn't even very fast.

Apparently the UK virsion of junk yard wars was called Scrapheap Challenge. Lots of old episodes on youtube.
