I just went a few rounds with someone over on Gizmodo, and I thought it was pretty funny.

There has to be 16 replies, but there is no way to share the expanded version. Even if I get the permalink, I have to click two or three more times to get the whole thing to lay out.
Is this what commenting has come to?

I think if you post the last comment in the thread it will show the previous ones in expanded form too.

I should be able to share the root, and it all shows. When I expand it, the URL doesn't change, so that's useless.
I even tried the /all at the end of my url, and that doesn't help.
(not saying that this one is great) but there will be some great conversations missed by all if they can't be cross-posted or shared without instructions.

I checked out the "last comment link" you shared. I actually replied to one of his comments twice, and now that one isn't being shown.
I did the same thing to Orlove today. I hit his same comment several times with some silly shit, but I couldn't seem to get more than one of them to show up at a time. There are three or four Alfa Doge images that have to be searched for.

Appending /+username to the end of any post shows a view personalized to that user. So in this instance, /+mcmike will show the post with all content you've interacted with via reply or recommend.
It's a bit of a hack and I can't guarantee it'll function that way forever, but it's cool to use so go nuts.
