Nope, it's up to your own choice. But it really help during winter. You wont have to remove snow in the morning.

Depends on who installs it. It holds quite well for us, we never had issues since 1999. My neighboor tho, had his completely destroyed by wind last year.

They didn't ignore us, but they tried to cut the price somewhere and raised the price there so that they wont lose. Plus my father didn't like the rear of the car.
