This is a truly excellent video guide by what I believe is the the official Nurburgring channel. Well worth a watch if you have 11 minutes of your morning or afternoon spare (depending on your location of course!)
Enjoy this one guys, It's a bit good. It also makes up for my shortage of articles recently, which I'm waiting for my editor at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to look through!

Advice graphics at the start say NO 2nd gear corners on the circuit. Which I found interesting, I figured it was for safety reasons? Maybe reducing the number of incidents they have at the circuit? This is an advanced beginners video remember.

Ah gotcha, that would make sense. The Sim racer in me started shouting out corner gears when writing that, completely missed that part of the video.

Wow, I wish I had a racing mind like that! My mind tends to go something like... see corner, guess a bit, vaguely press the break, press a bit more, lock breaks, panic, skid, go straight on, beach in gravel, try to power out, fail, remove steering wheel, sob.
