I went for a alignment on it and they said the car was already set the way I wanted it perfectly. These are the specs:
Front caster 5* to 6*
Front camber -1.0*
Front toe in total 0.07* (1/32")
Rear camber -1.6*
Rear toe in total 0.14* (1/16")
One thing less on my checklist!

Does the NC have double wishbones all around?

Good on them!

Double A-arm setup in the front and a five-link setup in the rear like the RX8...sadly.

I got yeah. Double A-arms doesn't gain camber while 5-link does(slight) with load, correct? So wouldn't the front need more camber than the rear, or am I crazy?

I'll be honest...I don't know much about suspension stuff like this. I did read a bit about it on the little gt2 user manual that I had...but other than that I'm clueless....yeah I know.

This is almost turning like YOLO lol

It is YOLO, just cooler and car-related.

No its all good, I am pretty clueless too. I am just trying to set my car up right for the upcoming autocross season. So I am learning a bit here and there. I say you do it too because it can really make a difference when doing some enthusiastic driving!

Well I check on forums. I know that if I wanna do autocross, I'll need more negative camber...but it's definitely not suitable for dding. My NA miata got a autocross setup and the tires just dies so fast on the sides that it isn't funny at all when you dd it. Lucky me, I know cheap used tire shops which change them for good used ones for 160-225$ on for 4 corners. It all depends on what you gonna do to the car. If you dd it, try to get a in-between.

Is it just as expensive to have them set it to a non OEM spec as an OEM spec alignment? How do I find a good street but better than OEM alignment specs?

Why the front toe-in?

Go on the Miata.net forum. That was the best spec for a stock suspension apparently. The OEM specs are too wide. I seriously suggest to do a Icehawk (might be too much on the tires, but damn the car turns sharply when you do it) or FM alignment on your Miata. http://www.miata.net/garage/align.h…

That's the best setting I found on the Miata.net forum for a stock suspension.

Huh, that may work on the street. On the track, having a touch of toe-out helps with turn-in for cornering, that's why I was wondering.

Yeah it's a dd setting.
