Without the blur, it probably looks like this.

Agreed. I was looking at trackers and samurais for a co-worker who wants a simple trail toy again and this thing came up. But quite a few looked like the wreck you posted with "still runs and drives!" and they still wanted actual money for them.

I can't believe they bothered to put up 13 of these atrocious photos. I didn't think modern cameras even let you be this terrible anymore...
By the way that pic, and the corresponding one on the other side is the "Why are we even bothering? I hope NPR will really take it away?!"

Yeah that's my favorite part - no mention of how it runs, just some really shitty pics and a 1600$ price? Are you fucking kidding me? I put the bierwagen up for sale for 1800 and I'm aiming on 1500. Who on earth would buy this heap of scrap for more than 50$?

I guess now we have definitive evidence of how well 15 year old Kias hold up when placed next to Lake Michigan. $400? Maybe? I can't even imagine the non-rusted through parts (if there are any left) are worth that much.

no mention of how it runs
I'm going to go ahead and call this a "Ran last when parked..." situation. Maybe 2?3 years ago?
Although if it does run, the terrible pics might be explainable as the result of massive carbon monoxide poisoning, since all that rust has got to be letting some nasty fumes into the cabin....

If it runs okay, I'd give him 250$ for it. I want to strip one of these into a little buggy type vehicle. Remove all glass, leave the roof in place, and strip the hell out of it. I'd just clean up the rust with a grinder and undercoat everything up to the top of the fender and underside of the car. Then use some plasti-dip on the rest. Service the motor and get it back to stock power, and that thing would be a fun little dune runaround in the summer.

Go for it! I can't imagine they are going to get many people lining up to pay $1600 with that ad...
