So this asshole on the front page in the comments sure likes to jump at any opportunity to call people out for a lack of respect of our armed forces... And really he is the asshole for assuming everyone in that airplane died. Way to go.

I am still in awe of how that Hercules takes off, it's quite the thing to behold, remind me of people's wacky creations in the Kerbal space program game.

Yeah, it would have been a very interesting event had they been able to go through with it. Really a pity they couldn't because those people would've been out a whole lot sooner.

Yeah, I'm just surprised they didn't make 2 more of them, just in case. Accidents always happen during testing of new systems. Hindsight and all that, though.

Yeah, especially when you strap rockets to an airplane never designed to have them. They did engineer it very well considering the limited amount of time they had. But between testing new systems and the possibility of operator error something could definitely go wrong.

Don't feed trolls. Also, don't call them out as assholes and then link to their comments. I would have used the dismiss button, or possibly just ignored his comment altogether. But drawing the attention of Oppo has the potential to make it worse by escalating the situation even further.
