At the beginning of February I was in an accident that totaled my 2001 Sable LS (sorry no pics of the crash). I don't want to go into details about the crash, but it was slushy and crappy outside when it happened. After some searching and many test drives I had found a replacement. This one is a 2002 Sable LS Premium, as many of you don't know the Premiums came STANDARD with the 24V DOHC Duratec V6. Many other options include the EATC (electronic climate control), autolamps, fog lights, leather seats, and a sunroof. Since this a 2002 Sable I gained many features as well: lighted unlock, lighted cruise control buttons and a LED rear center brake light. I don't really need to mod anything on this one (since most of them are already done from the factory) BUT I will be adding some things that didn't come with it from the factory, IE: the factory spoiler, upgraded audio system (Mach), power antenna. And then I'll want to add the following as well: rear disc brakes, a "real" mach 1 splitter and SHO rims. NOW ON TO THE PICTURES!!

My uncle lives by the Taurus version of these cars. He's gone through 2 or 3 of them already. His current one is at something like 160k miles now with little issues. Damn good work horses.

Nice car, we just got rid of a 2002 Taurus with the 24v and all the candy. It was a very nice car but it had 185k on the original motor....I kinda thought at this point it was a ticking time bomb, so I traded it in on a new 2014 Elantra.
